A new Bible Study opportunity is available on Monday evenings, starting Monday, February 26th at 6:30pm! We will be discussing topics brought to life in the book, “A World Worth Saving: Lenten Spiritual Practices for Action” by George Hovaness Donigian. “If you’re weary of the Lent-as-usual appeal to give up chocolate, this book is for you. You’ll discover how you can be the hands of Christ in the world. See Lent as your opportunity to become involved in acts of mercy and compassion.”
Classes will be led by Pastor Ken and take place on Monday evenings from 6:30pm-7:30pm, starting February 26th and ending on Monday, March 26th. We will also be piloting an online attendance option for those with difficulty making the meeting using Google Hangouts. As a bonus, discussion points and topics will be posted throughout the week. This is an interactive opportunity to connect with the study in a communicative, vibrant format. To be added to the online community, please email the office.
Copies of the book are available on Amazon.com with several buying options, including used and Kindle editions. If you have difficulties, please contact the church office for help with procurement.
We are excited for this new learning opportunity and look forward to seeing who joins us!
