On  the fourth Monday of the each month, you are invited to participate in the Salem Nutrition Center noon lunch ministry, providing a meal for those who might not necessarily have a good meal otherwise. There are tasks for everyone in helping the other volunteer staff to prepare and serve this meal. We will car pool on February 22, leave at 9 am from the church parking lot and return no later than 2:30 pm. We will eat lunch at Salem. If you are have questions or interested in going, please contact the Margot Badger (585)727-0677.

The Bible study group meets on Tuesday mornings from 10:00am to 11:30am in the Sunday school room. Consider joining as Pastor Ken leads the group deeper into the text of the Bible. The study will follow Ken’s sermon scriptures and is a great time for questions, discussions and deepening your understanding of God’s Word. You do not have to come every week, just come as you are able. All are welcome!

Water from an Ancient Well: Celtic Spirituality for Modern Life

A Learning Experience for any interested folks in the Finger Lakes region, presented at the Honeoye United Church of Christ.

Thursday evenings, 7:00-8:30pm Starting September 21st

  • Learn an ancient, earth-honoring way of living skillfully in today’s world
  • Valuable for persons of all faiths or no faith (although based on the teachings of Jesus)
  • Topics include: Spiritual Romance, The Divine in the Everyday, Sacred Presence in Nature, Furred and Feathered Friends, Gifts of the Imagination, and Sacred Hospitality
  • Gatherings include: music, meditation, presentation, discussion, and snacks
  • All gatherings are free and open to the public
  • Come as often as you wish, each session is self-contained
  • Based on the Celtic Spirituality bestseller “Water from an Ancient Well” and presented by the author, Kenneth McIntosh. Copies of the book will be available for purchase, but the book is not necessary to benefit from the gatherings.

Spaghetti Dinner
Oct 4 @ 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm

Join us for our monthly spaghetti supper on the first Wednesday of every month! Dinner includes salad, deserts, drinks and as much spaghetti and garlic bread as you can eat! We serve from 5:00pm-7:00pm in the dining hall, and take out is available. Kids eat at a discounted rate. Each month, a portion of the proceeds benefit  a local charity dedicated to assisting those in our community.
