The Visitation Committee continues to be awed by the sense of God going with us as we make our visits to members and friends who are unable to participate in our church family as they did in the past. On each visit, we are reassured this personal contact is an important part of our ministry. Please let us know if you or someone you know may be in need of caring concern.
This program was implemented in 2016 by the Deacons to assist local families with immediate financial needs. We strive to respond to each request in a timely manner. If you are in need of emergency aid, please call 585-371-8880 or email honeoyeucc@gmail.com.
Any person sixty years of age or older is eligible for the OFA Congregate Meal Program. The congregate meal site at the Honeoye United Church of Christ is open on Tuesday and Thursdays from 12:00 -1:30 PM. Lunch is served at 12:00 noon. For reservations call (585)396-4196. You must call at least 24 hours in advance of the meal you wish to participate in. The United Church of Christ is a Congregate Meal Site, which indicates that we are a central facility where people meet to have a meal and socialize. This is a great opportunity for seniors to get out of the house, get a good meal, and make new friends or visit with old ones.
